Unasyn is the trade name for ampicillin-sulbactam, a combination of ampicillin and the beta lactamase inhibitor sulbactam. It is given either IV or IM. My apologies to the non-USA audience.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
