<<These pregnancies are celebrated with baby showers, and gone are the days when if a teen got pregnant, she was quietly sent to her "aunt's" house far away where she then gave up the baby for adoption and returned home, sadder but wiser and her future not derailed.>> And therein lies the problem. We've made it _acceptible behavior_, not frowned upon or forbidden. The years of psychologists telling us that "guilt" is bad, that we all must feel good about ourselves, has finally come to fruition. Nobody DOES feel any guilt any more... everything is okay. And the "between consenting adults" battle cry of the swinging 60s has become "between anyone, anytime, any age, anyhow, including a boy and his dog." ************************************************* doctorjoe@aol.com "All things are connected. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
