I would not dismiss the idea of a 13 y.o.in the c/s room out of hand. The idea of a "dry run" is an excellent one. It should identify any difficulties with the 13 y.o. and allow you, as the captain of the ship, to evaluate the situation first hand. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
