Dear Stewart, May I offer my heartfelt sympathy and support to you and your colleagues as you battle to deal with this horror. I had just arrived home from our own labour ward to hear of the tragedy on the radio. How such a thing can happen is bewildering, and all in our own small town are horrified. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
