Hi Allan, Thank you for your kind comments. Because of your non .mil address I presume that you are no longer with Uncle Sam. The last time I heard of you you had just finished a Fellowship with Joe Leigh in Chicago and then went to Biloxi to practice Genetics. Where are you now? I was delighted to see a posting from you. I still go to Big Willie every Tuesday (almost 23 years). I now have an official title - Adjunct Professor. I am mellowing in my old age but occasionally I have to be a mean SOB just to get the attention of the residents! Twenty four hours a day faculty are in house, even the Chairman (Rus Snyder) does his fair share of calls. Next month everything changes. WHMC, BAMC and Darnell will be "united". All oncology and gynecologic surgery will be performed in the new BAMC. All obstetrics at WHMC and the MFM staff will go to Darnell once a week. All teaching will be on Thursdays. None of the institutions will have Clinics or Surgery on Thursdays. All conferences will be teleconferenced to all 3 locations. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Personal regards Peter -- Peter V. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
