Re: closed listFrom: Anna Nickels (102476.2066@compuserve.com)Sat Mar 9 21:23:10 1996
Please don't close the list. Although I am a nurse, I signed on because this was described to me as "a discussion of obstetrics and gynecology". I thought it would be appropriate for me to sign on since I have worked in all aspects of OG/GYN and perinatal nursing for 18.5 years. I have learned a lot from many of the MDs and some of the midwives on the list. Like many of the other subscribers, I don't like using my time to read "flame wars". I have to read this list, as well as the other two professional lists I subscribe to, during my lunch hour and after work. I am becoming adept at using the delete key. I can honestly say that I have learned something every day that I read. I particularly enjoy notes from other parts of the globe. It is important to me that I continue my education and this list is one way of doing so. My job requires me to keep the national perspective on practice in mind. Thank you for listening (reading??) :-) Anna Romig Nickels, RNC, BSN "An old dog who has learned new tricks!" Washington, DC

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
