home deliveries

As a possible concession, let's cease with the arguments regarding the home delivery vs. hospital scenario. This discussion is rapidly escalating into a "flame war". I believe that both sides are quite guilty of excessive stereotyping. I have been unfortunately involved with outcomes that could have been easily avoided on both ends. Each of us can cite examples of error associated with home births, vaginal deliveries, hospital cesareans. Further, churning up calamities from the 1800's is even more fruitless. Let's agree to differ and move on to other areas that can be discussed.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
