I most heartily agree. But I also think the term "patient" should be reserved for the ill, and do not agree that all pregnant women are ill. Those who are ill obviously need to be cared for by a physician, and become "patients," but I think it is very hard to remember that pregnancy is not necessarily an illhess if we label *everyone* patients. As you say, words are powerful things.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
