Dear Carlos

I am trying to contact people in the Carribean region who may be interested in joining a randomized controlled trial in which patients with severe preeclampsia are randomized to either magnesium sulfate or nimodipin for seizure prophylaxis. The theory is that cerebral vasospasm is the basic underlying pathophysiology of eclampsia and that nimodipine is a more effective cerebrtal vasodilator than mag. Would you or any of your colleagues be interested in joing this study? I will be happy to provide complete details if you are. By the way I can offer only $50 for each enrolled patient but it may help pay some costs.

sincerely

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
