>One of the good things about canada being behind the usa in the medico legal climate is that we can attempt to anticipate and avoid some of the problems we see arising. This is also true for breech deliveries. At the end of the concesus confereence I mentioned earlier there was a statement recognizing the the need to keep teaching the residents this art. As a recent graduate I am very much indebt to those of my preceptore who continued to brave the bittermedicolegal climate in order to teach me this art. Also of note William and Mary Hannah of Toronto are in the process of trying to organize a multicentre study on breech delivery. Hopefully this will help clarify the issue somewhat.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
