To keep things in perspective - the lowest BIRTHWEIGHT-CORRECTED perinatal mortality rate is right here in the US of A - our problem is CLEARLY that of too may premature deliveries. Our rate at Univ. of MD is 30% of our deliveries are prior to 37 weeks!!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
