I'm sorry to wade in when I have been accused of pontification in the past but i must say that I feel that any OB/Gyn who was not trained in the effective management of the vaginal breech or the vaginal OP/OT or other operative vaginal delivery - has simply not been adequately trained. The abdominal delivery of the OP/OT at +2 station is obviously now standard of care - but is also inadequate care. I am sorry to see this degredation of our specialty and will continue to see to it that our residents are appropriately trained. David

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
