Hi, There is an OB-GYN list on the internet. I can find the address if you can't get it by a web search machine. I have had several women in my years who have contractions resistant to oral Terbutaine. If the cervix is not changing, I do not think anything MUST be done. I use 5mg doses q4-6 hours as long as the pulse is less than 120. I have used SC Terbutaline 0.25 mg in a patient at home who could be trusted to give herself the injesction with supervision. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
