Re: fetal monitoring--response to Dr. NageyFrom: MBK80@aol.comTue Dec 26 13:00:36 1995
women are advised before any testing is done as to the limitations each test is associated with. i am seeing many more women cognizant of the fact that there are no guarantees in life, our colleagues are doing a much better job of informing their patients though we still have a long way to go. womens health care continues to improve as women become more involved in their care. the questions asked of clinicians today would never be asked ten years ago. lets hope women continue to insist on the quality of health care services they PREFER instead of just accepting whats handed to them. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
