I do case reviews, both plaitiff but mostly defense. I agree that perfection is the only norm one is expected to provide. I once had a case review that the baby had many problems. The doctor was not at fault, nor the delivery staff. Everything was done perfectly. It was an act of God. The attorney informed me that I had to find something that was done wrong because someone had to pay and God couldn't. I informed him to ge another expert. Unfortunately he did.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
