hi buzz. i agree with you totally. we've also used your technique. my main objective was to let people understand that dermoids can be done this way though some risk does exist regardless of how we remove them from the abdominal cavity. culdotomy, though sometimes difficult to repair, can be performed with a spoon or spatula electrode, a reuseable one at that. this eliminates the cost of a pouch for removal. also prevents a LASER charge (though i forget what a laser looks like). we've not had any culdotomy complications. hope you and your family have a nice holiday. we'll stay in touch
