I disagree. I have been a salaried sonographer for over 35 years, and I am no slave. Do you consider your staff as slaves? Or do they do piece work in the good old capitalistic tradition? No one wants to shackle anyone; but your polemical rhetoric is good. Do you write for a corporate lobby?

I thought we all got into medicine to make things better, at least I did.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
