I don't work in Germany. In any case the universal insurance coverage scheme in Germany gives everyone a chip card and the doctors claim directly from the scheme. So the girls could go by themselves and the parents will usually not see any invoice. However, teenage pregnancy rates in Germany are much lower than in the US. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
