Re: Is vaginal estrogen unnaposed? From: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@gmail.com)Wed Feb 25 22:26:55 2009
Thanks, Garry! I had a women come from the other side of Rutland VT to seem me for this problem. She had hears from someone that I was "the ONE to see" ... There had to be a good gyn on her side of Rutland (Burlington ant Vt Med School etc were much closer). The regimen I posted worked great and she was back for her follow up in 6 weeks and could not have been happier. She was mid 60's. No partner for about a decade and no HT. New partner 10 years her junior. Recently had a long term patient in her 70's, who had always laughed when I said "if someone walks into your life - be sure to call me as your vagina will not tolerate any vaginal penetration" - she laughed because she figured it was never going to happen. But one day I get a call and she tells the staff, "I think I need that cream Dr. Bulley has mentioned." Sure enough - that regimen below worked like a charm. Hope it helps others. Joanne
