Does anyone else feel that all this talk about how fast we can do a surgery is totally unprofessional and inappropriate? agf Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2008 12:03:44 -0600 From: rmodugno@aol.com To: ob-gyn-l@mail.obgyn.net Subject: Re: Gyrus/Ligasure -----Original Message----- From: Dr Eberhard W Lisse <el@lisse.na> To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L <ob-gyn-l@mail.obgyn.net> Sent: Mon, 29 Dec 2008 1:09 am Subject: Re: Gyrus/Ligasure I generally ask my anesthetist to write down incision time and last staple/suture in at C/S and TAH. And I agree, I often find that my impression about how long it took is usually way off. 12 minutes for a vaginal hysterectomy, who is he kidding? *****************************************************************

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
