Re: Is this vulvodynia?From: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@gmail.com)Fri Nov 28 16:56:27 2008
This sounds more like Lichen Simplex Chronicus. Probably needs a biopsy. google: lynette margesson vulvodynia and lynette margesson lichen simplex chronicus And you will get links to powerpoint presentations she has available with pictures and such. She writes for the textbooks for derm and gyn. And she moved to NH and is a great resource. She also gives talks with Hope Haefner (U Mich - and was a med student there when I was a resident). Hope told me we are lucky here in NH to have Lynn & that she wishes she had as good a derm/gyn person in Michigan. Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
