I agree that although ovarian primary is highly suspicious with the ascites and omental nodules, I really think with normal appearing ovaries, other etiologies have to be considered. With the pancreatic nodule, I would think that has to be considered. Has the internist or general surgeon ordered any serology that might point to pancreas? I also agree with others on calling your consulting gyn & general oncologist. Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
