I have never read any studies about this (I did suggest it once to Vincenzo Berghella, my co-fellow from MFM, and now the head of MFM at Jefferson in Philadelphia, as a good topic for one of his fellows), but anecdotally I have seen several pregnant women with sleep apnea and IUGR babies. I'd lay money on there being an association. Danae

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
