Well, I don't do OB now. But I think you're HALF way off base.

There are two questions here:

1) wanting another baby -- who is to say how many is too many? If you want to argue ZPG, go right ahead. But I don't think OBs (or witches) are supposed to strong-arm patients into having "only" 2 kids, or 3 kids, or 1 kid. Does RED CHINA mean anything to you?

2) purposefully trying for twins, especially with a scarred uterus -- now THAT is something a responsible OB can go balistic on. Primum non nocere is something that should be partially operative here. Don't go making things more difficult (twins!!!) that you have to. Don't go asking for trouble.

There you go. You asked.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
