getting caught upFrom: Charlie Chambers (cchamber@embarqmail.com)Fri May 30 16:57:07 2008
Been a little while since I've been able to sit down and read from the list, so just doing a little bit of catching up. Life gets busy. Also, spending time trying to learn our new EMR. Kelly We live not too far apart. I'll keep my ears open for anyone with a CA license looking for some work. Wish I had a license and more hours in my day to pitch in. Best of luck. I'll keep your health in my prayers and thoughts. Dan Here's you rebounding quickly and completely from your surgery. As with Kelly, will keep your concerns foremost. Breeches We still do them but frequently discuss whether it makes any sense in our current climate, and I don't mean global warming. VBAC on demand We have an interesting situation that the official hospital policy is that we do not do trials of labor after C/S. However, we have a few FP's in town that are giving patients the old "wink-wink, nudge- nudge" that if they came into the hospital in active labor and refused a repeat C/S, then we would have to let them. It's causing quite a bit of concern amongst the staff esp. those of us that provide c/s services to those that do not do them. ************************************************************************ **** Charlie Chambers -- Hood River, OR cchamber@alumni.rice.edu

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
