Hi Dan,

I guess you should have paid more attention!:) The suffix -um when appended to a noun renders the noun neuter singular.The suffix for masculine singular is -us. Hence : mensa (table,feminine) plural mensae. Filius (boy,masculine) plural filii. adnexum (neuter singular) plural adnexa
