Re: Sometimes breachs are just meant to be born vaginally. From: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@gmail.com)Wed May 28 19:32:08 2008
Congratulations on a job well done, John. How many of the young folks who ahve never seen a vaginal breech delivery would be willing to make that decision (and handle the aftercoming head if Pipers needed?)? I have often made that comment - the young folks just don't have the skills for this anymore. 15 (maybe 18) years ago my brand new partner was the "2nd OB' at a twin delivery. Second baby was delivered as a podalic extraction - and afterwards she said, "Wow - I have never even seen a vaginal breech delivery before." Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
