Sometimes breachs are just meant to be born vaginally.

So I just get home after spending 20 hrs in the D.R. durring my first On Call rotation after returning from Vacation when I get a call from the D.R. that a 26 Y.O. G1 at 34 wks just walked in fully and most likely frank breach. Get to the D.R. and go straight to the section room, find a nice Mom with a BMI of 46 on the section/forceps table, exam her and find a nice frank breach scarum at sation +5. Mom had been told she was being preped for a section (understandable), have a quick chat with Mom and we deciede to try one push with the next contraction; baby falls out and ofcourse there is a small aburption. Apagars 9,9 5lbs 6 oz, arterial cord PH 7.31.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
