Oh, well, it was good while it lasted! From the WSJ in 2004. I tried to access the website and it's there, but all its pages are pretty much disabled.

Site on Litigious Patients Shuts

By Rachel Emma Silverman Staff Reporter of The Wall Street Journal

An Internet database that tracked litigious patients, plaintiffs' lawyers and expert witnesses has shut down.

The database, DoctorsKnow.Us, had ignited a firestorm because it could potentially be used to deny care to patients who have sued doctors in the past. Patients, plaintiffs' attorneys and patient-advocacy groups objected, saying patients have the right to sue for compensation for medical negligence and shouldn't be denied care for previous suits.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
