But if the patient had done her 'research' and knew that HPV testing was available, would you offer it as an addition to her PAP or would you rely on the pap to tell you if she had effects of HPV (rather than colonization with HPV)

This happens a few times a month for various reasons, the "worst" of which is the established 30 or 40 something whom I've known for years and her husband has had extramarital relations.

I normally suggest GC/Chlamydia testing, and blood for HIV, RPR, and Hepatitis B (does anybody do other Hepatitides?).
