I would normally give a 42 year old estrogen.
I'll probably do an LSH when her fibroids act up.

What does it matter-these women are not going to get estrogen anyway. The
uterus will just atrophy unless they are morbidly obese, in that case the
length of the surgery becomes an increased variability for complications

But why not do a supracervical hyst at that point as well?
Just did one today for ovarian mass - the hysterectomy part took 20 min.
