Actually most people will clear it....however here in LV some insurance companies will not pay for annual pap smears unless there an abnormality, including HPV. If no HPV I feel comfortable not performing annual Pap exams; however if non-monogamous I feel it is necessary to check for all STDs, and that includes HPV.
