Re: Question about medical office lease increasesFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Mon Jan 7 13:36:25 2008
Sounds excessive to me. Have you checked with other offices/landlords in the area to see how they compare? I haven't had a rate adjustment for four years. The last office I was in had stable rates for about ten years, the property then sold to a local attorney and he promptly hit me with a $1000/month rate increase. I told him to stick it and moved to my current location. I'm farther away from the hospital, but I can live with that. Ronald E. I have a set rate for the next 2 years but then the landlord put down for 5% increases in the rent for each of years 3, 4 and 5. Isn't that a bit much? Can some of you share your expertise with me? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
