Well HIV is no more and no less communicable than Syphilis or Hepatitis B and C. Identification allows contact notification and information, and yes, treatment. Since there is treatment available, this disease should be treated the same as other communicable diseases. Organisms have no politics. So when in NJ, do as New Jerseyans do. And when in Namibia, do as Namibians do. Just saying ... Art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
