Diff toxin positive and group B strep +ve." 20 y.o. primip, 37 wks, one month history of diarrhea, at one point almost lost ten pounds. Well her stools came back positive for C. Diff toxin and guess what her group B strep swab is +ve. I am leaning on using Vancomycin 1 gram I.V. Q12hrs for the group B when in labor and Vancomycin 500mg p.o. QID for the C. Diff. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
