My group also has a new partner who trained there a few years ago, and ACOG just came out with the bulletin that cystoscopy is OK with hysterectomy (to keep the insurance companies and medical staff offices happy if we do them). So, after learning some new tricks to better support the upper support (level 1), I have begun doing cystoscopy with TVH and LAVH, especially when placing McCall's sutures. I had not done cysto much since residency, and wasn't that comfortable with it, but, as expected, it is not too hard and has many similarities to hysteroscopy. Are others doing this more, if at all?
