Well, this is ONE way to fight allegations: _Doctor Accused of Malpractice Disappears_ (http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/local/articles/1029normann1029.html) An Arizona doctor whose license was revoked last month after three people died during or after liposuction procedures has apparently disappeared. Dr. Peter Normann is currently under investigation by police in relation to the deaths and is facing lawsuits by the families of two patients who died under his care. Normann has failed respond to several court filings or to appear for a deposition. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
