Re: Gyn: When to stop the pillFrom: Gordon Goldman (obgyndoc@swbell.net)Mon Oct 29 19:56:11 2007
Garry, I would advise her that she should attempt off OCs and observe. If Sx of menopause, she can start w/lowest doses of HRT and work higher if need. It is likely the dose of HRT is significantly less potentially dangerous to her than continued OCs. Document the offer and her response in the chart. Gordon On Oct 29, 2007, at 8:14 PM, Garry E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
