Has it changed, or does Pharma now look for diseases to treat with their drugs, rather than look for drugs to treat our diseases?

Now, we aren't lying. We are regurgitating what our reputable reps are telling us, during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now, thems honest people, Huck

My question is this: why won't the same thing happen with HPV? Right now HPV is a little more than a nuisance in the regularly screened population. What happens when it becomes more aggressive due to the selecting out of relatively easy to treat strains? I am feeling reluctant to giving this vaccine although now it is out there perhaps the resistance is inevitable.

Wait, wait!!! It's "little more than a nuisance???" WHY, then, are we spending massive amounts of money at PR, advertising, indoctrinating, etc. to get the whole population (or at least right now, HALF of the entire population) vaccinated? Are we lying to the people about the danger of this "nuisance" virus just to support the eeevil drug industry?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
