Actual the nurses tried that for about 1/2 hr untill I pointed out she was only 8-9, if she was o.a. you get away with it 9/10 times in a multip, o.p. big baby you are looking at a set up for shoulder dystocia , or if she pushes it out O.P. 3rd or 4th degree tear that takes longer than a c-section to repair. Being a multip and having a perisist rim or anterior lip in O.P. is a warning sign not to be taken lightly, especially if 3hours of augmentaion don't make it go away. Ofcourse the c-section may not be a cake walk either.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
