Not a very sensible thing to do - give someone in early pregnancy oestrogens then cytotec without some plan of action for the possibility of failure. Presumably, the intention was to abort this assumed pregnancy. Now that misoprostol has been given, it would be very unwise not to take steps to complete the abortion, as the risk of damage to the fetus is high.
