Re: ? perf at hysteroscopyFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Tue Aug 28 10:03:38 2007
I would have scoped her. I had one like that recently, it was a redo of a failed ablation. I had a perforation on the right lateral side of the uterus, by the lower uterine segment. It went directly into the broad ligament and dissected along the right pelvic sidewall, above the pelvic brim, it was amazing how much fluid she received in the blink of an eye. She did fine with observation, minimal pain in the hospital overnight. When I went back to do a LAVH six weeks later, because of continued bleeding, there was no problems I could identify and the surgery was not complicated. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
