Re: Gestational Age Calculator for iPhoneFrom: Garry E. Siegel, M.D. (garrys@mindspring.com)Thu Aug 23 23:21:21 2007
FWIW, my first smartphone was a Cingular (now ATT)Treo 650, with Palm software. The phone was not so great, and it had to be restarted a lot. It stopped working after taking a swim in our bathroom unexpectedly, a marked shortcoming. I hemmed and hawed when getting a new product, but went with a Treo 750, with Windows software. It is much better on many levels, especially the fact that it integrates perfectly with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook and Word--much better than the Palm. The phone is better, and I don't have to restart it nearly as often. I haven't used it much for email or web, so I have no comments, but for anyone who uses Office and wants a mobile device, it is very familiar and easy. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
