Charlie,

I would suggest doing it similar to what a billing service would do and take a percentage of what is collected. You can negotiate a percentage that will cover your costs and maybe even a little profit and still get her some revenue.

Wonder if anyone has had any experience with closing out someone's AR? We have an unrelated specialist who has been paying us to use space/billing etc. She's moving away and therefore closing her practice. She'd like us to work what remains of her AR after she leaves. Anyone have any experience doing this, and what would be fair to charge to work the AR?

Thanks

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
