Louana, haha..to be TIC and "provacative" in a Friday afternoon Monty Python kind of mood... how about this answer..Gee, I dunno' know. Maybe we could visit that woman, provide her the opportonity to have her genitalia progressively stretched for a few hours, stuck with a few needles, and then ask her if she thinks whether, in comparison to her epidural, the current experience could have improved the quality of her delivery experience? Of course, we could just respect her choice. :-) Hank "westsidebirthservice@juno.com" <westsidebirthservice@juno.com> wrote: Do you think she was prejudiced by the American cultural approach to life of medicate all pain? Especially given that she had not labored previously and did not have any way of comparing natural birth with medicated. Louana

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
