Re: 25 weeker with anencephalyFrom: Len2976@aol.comMon Jun 25 12:16:29 2007
The patient is a 44 y/o G1, who is in L&D in the midst of a cytotec IOL for the past 2 days. Thus far there has been no progress with the use of 200 mcg vaginally every 4 hours. In the past with 18-20 weekers with IUFD, we have used up to 400 mcg. We would appreciate any suggestions. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
