Hi all, I have a patient who is a case of primary infertility. She has normal results on blood investigations, bilateral patent tubes, husband is normospermic. She has history of occasional galactorrhea with normal serum prolactin levels. On ultrasound I found that she is not ovulating.I started her on bromocriptine and she had a follicular growth upto 16 mm.I then gave her HCG(5000), but she did not ovulate and she now has a persistent follicle of 16 mm. What do you think should I do next.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
