Re: Zofran for hyperemesisFrom: rmodugno@aol.comTue Jun 19 07:09:39 2007
Phenergan is cheap. Reglan (metoclopromide) can be used as second line- as we know that zofran is expensive. I believe it is going generic soon. If reflux is a component - try "Pepcid Complete" OTC. Other things I have tried - scopolomine patches. Persistent intractable vomiting - steroids, thorazine. Robert Modugno MD MBA FACOG Sylva, NC See what's free at AOL.com.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
