The billing itself is a piece of cake, I actually did it myself with the help of a goo billing program. Where you need help, know-how and time is in the appeals, call to insurance co, fighting their rejections, and going after various deadbeats.

I am part of a large multispecialty group so that is no longer an issue for me, but If i were doing it again on my own, I would be looking at Athenahealth

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
