i am stting up a solo practice - billing quotes can be 3% of collected - 5-11% of collected.

IPS in wi seems to be at 3% - my "private" business consultant is 5-9% or in that range.

do any of you use one line services?

do you "usually" go through your business consultant - cpa firms usually?

i need a good coder for procedures - i am certainly - honestly - good at accurate office visit billing - i have that drilled in.

my private consultant does not do that many obgyns - so i am thinking of other sources. it can add up to a fair amount of money.

feel free to address me off the list - mhdmd@wi.rr.com

thanks for you ideas - opinions

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
